Ravenheat has added a new apprentice to the team. Selena Roper will be undertaking a Business Administrator apprenticeship for the next two years.
Selena, 16, had been studying at college but left to do an apprenticeship. She now intends to make the most of the opportunity. Our last apprentice stayed for two-and-a-half years and Selena already hopes it will lead to a longer term position.
The apprenticeship will give an insight into the workings of the company, while allowing her to develop transferable skills she can use in her chosen career. General Manager Matthew Longford said: “We’re keen to take on youngsters who are blank canvases and have a willingness to learn.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity not only for us, but also young people who are working towards a career in the industry. Offering apprenticeships is something Ravenheat is looking to do more of in the future as our business continues to expand.”
